The opportunity

A chance to join our thriving Reward team. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager to join our Reward team specialising in HR Transactions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving people-focused transformation across the mergers and acquisitions lifecyclefrom due diligence to integration and separation. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions that align HR strategy with business objectives during mergers acquisitions divestitures and other complex transactions.

This is a hybrid position based in Warrang Sydney or Naarm - Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead and advise HR transactions workstreams to deliver high-impact solutions that align HR strategy with business objectives during complex M&A / transactions.
    • To work across all phases such as diligence integration and transformation.
    • Design and implement operating models and organisational structures for new businesses going through transactions and transformations
    • Manage change impact assessments consultation processes and cultural alignment initiatives
  • Drive project delivery and team collaboration working cross-functionally to execute initiatives manage teams and coach team members for growth and development.
  • Innovate through AI integration bringing fresh ideas and embedding intelligent solutions into your HR Transaction practice.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Extensive HR experiencein consulting or corporate environments with a strong foundation in HR operations organisational design and/or change management ideally within transaction or transformation contexts.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to navigate complex initiatives manage competing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Valuable exposure to private equity and/or large-scale corporate transactions enhancing strategic insight and adaptability in highly complex environments.
