Position Summary

Thales is seeking a dynamic and innovative Autonomous Systems Specialist to develop defense-oriented solutions. The successful candidate will develop and demonstrate new capabilities with air surface and sub-surface vehicles.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Transform user requirements into technical specifications.
Develop designs that meet technical specifications.
Assist in implementing and validated the developed products.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years experience designing and developing autonomous systems.
Capacity and drive to continuously learn & apply new technologies and methods.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of and experience with platforms sensors communication systems and standards for autonomous systems.
Knowledge of AI and the ability to articulate its strengths and weaknesses in terms of mission impacts/success to Customers and End Users.
Licensed and experienced in the operation of drones in the air on the surface and under the surface.

Schedule: On Call
Physical Environment: Hybrid Work Arrangement working remotely from home and some time will be required in the office
Travel: Light
