Job Description

The Sr Director Media Measurement Optimization & Web Analytics drives the transformation of how Media & Creative data fuels Pfizers modern marketing engine driving Performance & optimization across paid owned & earned Media creating an optimization & insight engine for data driven decisioning within key marketing initiatives across paid media creative audience website earned owned & influencer marketing. This role oversees a high-performing multifunctional analytics team guiding them through innovative initiatives and data-driven solutions that enhance the omnichannel patient and provider integrated media strategy and enable commercial excellence.

This is a global enterprise-wide leadership role responsible for integrated media analytics strategy test-and-learn frameworks and the end-to-end delivery of Media performance insights to business leadership including the leadership brand marketing and CMO partners.

This role will manage a team of 20 both within the US and Globally growing a new team to Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Media Analytics Leadership

  • Lead the strategic vision operations and governance of media creative audience website influencer/earned and analytics.
  • Build & scale enterprise performance measurement and optimization across the media marketing funnel from awareness to engagement to business impact for both DTC and HCP campaigns.
  • Serve as a senior escalation and decision point for advanced media analytics and data management strategy internally and with agency partners

Executive & Portfolio-Level Reporting

  • Oversee the cross-functional team leading delivery of global and U.S. brand-level performance reporting and strategic insights to senior stakeholders the SLT/ELT and brand marketing teams
  • Lead Media representation as a key SteerCo & ATC member within key initiatives such as: QBRs MROI HCP Omnichannel & PfizerForAll etc. to create a roadmap that enables program success defines data & technology needs & aligns insights with enterprise-wide marketing & blueprint goals.
  • Advance KPI frameworks and lead executive measurement planning for high-impact campaigns (e.g. Super Bowl ASCO Pfizer Brand etc.).

BU Analytics Delivery

  • Create & oversee a team that integrates media optimization reports across multiple functions such as media creative audience website influencer owned earned & GTM strategy for over 50 brands globally
  • Deliver ongoing monthly/quarterly reporting and ad hoc analysis as feasible to L1 and L2 business unit teams with actionable insights that address key strategic and operational questions
  • Develop and enhance performance benchmarks translating campaign results into clear expectations and optimization opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and oversee an agency team to support the output of reporting & optimization globally for nearly $1B in media investment
  • Oversee & lead negotiation structure for audience science media analytics data governance creative & web analytics & advanced analytics scopes with agency & 3rd party vendors internationally & within the US

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and grow a cross-functional team of 23 analytics professionals across domains (media creative web audience data strategy & omnichannel intelligence experts).
  • Drive & create internal education and alignment on the analytics ecosystem tools and best practices that this role is bringing to Pfizer.
  • Build and lead a high-performing reporting and insights team to enable near real-time optimization leading & lagging analysis connectivity to Blueprint (Digital Ecosystem MROI etc.) go-to-market campaigns and Media ROI optimization analysis providing strategic transparent and insightful analytics to embed data at the core of marketing decisioning
  • Advance trigger-based media and creative optimization via NPI-level HCP strategies to drive daily optimizations that drive MROI & targeting through advanced utilization of HCP data
  • Lead creation of Pfizers global experimentation framework standardizing test planning execution and insight capture across brands.

Agency & Operational Transformation

  • Lead agency initiatives and scopes by identifying key pain points in integrated media analytics and designing scalable solutions that align with long-term strategic goals. Drive structure of external agency analytics teams with improved data foundation for insight delivery efficiency and right-sized resourcing
  • Develop and implement actionable plansin response to stakeholder feedback and survey insights

Cross-Functional Influence & Enterprise Enablement

  • Lead media integration to QBRs led by GCA to ensure connectivity between key marketing efforts within media & creative to business analytics for stakeholder connectivity
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within the CMO organization and other organizations within Pfizer including the Digital Organization Procurement the Primary Care Specialty Care and Oncology Business Units Corporate Affairs Finance & Legal to proactively experiment new capabilities in technology workflow key capabilities & AI that bring forward insights for faster and smarter decision-making

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree in Marketing and 12 years work experience in media measurement and analytics with extensive experience building and leading agile workflows.
  • Expertise in media attribution and measurement platforms.
  • Experience with the vendor landscape and technology applications for common industry topics such as CDP integrations; Data Lake architecture; customer journey personalization and messaging; paid earned and owned media mix modelling planning; media activation reporting and other forms of market research.
  • Familiar with AdTech toolsets and platforms skilled in manipulating data sets and creating visualizations on key platforms experience in designing and building/evolving dashboards in tools such as Tableau Datorama and Power BI.
  • Experience with both Traditional and Social Platforms strategy and management Facebook Business Manager Google Ads Twitter Ads etc.
  • Creative innovative problem solver who leads with insights derived from data.
  • B2B and B2C data-led marketing experience.
  • Experience with leading agencies ISV technology companies or consulting partners in advertising and marketing tech.
  • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
  • Understanding of data-driven media planning and buying approaches in the US
  • Executive presence and demonstrated ability to effectively influence and drive alignment across senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding ofMarketing & Technology vendors landscape and direct partner relationships that will provide a solid foundation for collaboration and innovation
  • Experience with leading agencies technology companies or consulting partners in advertising and marketing tech
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills; can articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience
  • Creative innovative problem solver who leads with insights derived from data
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable the teams to achieve successful delivery

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $219800.00 to $366400.00.* In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
