Social Studies Long-Term Substitute Teacher Windham Middle School

Windham Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated long-term substitute Social Studies Teacher.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in American history and social studies pedagogy a passion for creating engaging student-centered learning environments and a commitment to fostering a supportive classroom community. The successful educator will design and deliver instruction that incorporates whole-group and small-group learning aligns with standards-based reporting and integrates Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to support diverse learners. Lessons should also embed the C3 Inquiry Framework to promote critical thinking problem-solving and inquiry-based learning while using technology effectively to enhance instruction and student engagement.

Collaboration with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) will be essential to ensure students experience cohesive and connected learning opportunities. Above all the teacher will cultivate a positive and respectful classroom environment demonstrating strong emotional intelligence professionalism and a dedication to student growth and success.

Qualifications:

State of NH Certification or ability to become certified is required as outlined by the New Hampshire Department of Education.

Position is paid a daily rate of $236.76.
