Engineering/Manufacturing Excellence Intern @ Woodlands Your Future Position
Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8
Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Support improving the preventive maintenance tasks for production and utility equipment
- Support Maintenance Gap assessment action items
- Support on closing corrective and preventive (CAPA) action items
- Physical review and updating electrical single line diagram
- Standardize plant drawing and documentation
- Support Continuous Improvement projects/initiatives- field study data collection for Energy and water savings
At the end of the industrial attachment interns will be able to:
- Familiarize with equipment preventive maintenance.
- To get knowledge about maintenance process and system
- To gain knowledge in Electrical distribution (for Electrical student)
- Familiar safety in a manufacturing plant
- Familiarize with developing and reviewing SOPs
- Acquire knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Acquire knowledge on continuous improvement and its tools
Main Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical /Instrumentation Engineering or relevant fields
