For the Law Centre for Health and Life in the Faculty of Law we are looking for an enthusiastic student assistant for research support.

What will you do

Your core tasks in this position will include a combination of the following:

  • support in the research of the Centre particularly of drs. Katrina Perehudoff and James Hazel including research tasks formatting of research reports and/or assistance with transcribing/coding of expert interviews;
  • Assistance developing and managing Bachelors of Law course materials;
  • support in setting up the organization/events mailing lists and contacts of a new consortium/programme of research.

What do we require

For this position of lecturer we require that you are:

  • interested or a student in Health Law;
  • interested or a student in European Law or Public International Law;
  • experience using social science research methods is welcome;
  • available through the end of August 2025 ;
  • a clear communicator in English knowledge of Dutch is preferred;
  • able to work independently on projects and play a coordinating role in a team.

What do we offer

We offer you a challenging and diverse position in an ambitious environment. The position is for minimum 6 hours and maximum 16 hours per week with a start date as soon as possible. The vacancy may be filled by more than one candidate depending on suitability.

The salary amounts to a minimum of 3.084and a maximum of 3.141gross per month (salary scale SA CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten) based on full-time employment (38 hours).
