What to expect.
You will lead a team of dedicated professionals across multiple Sheppard Pratt School locations throughout Maryland ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and the implementation of evidence-based practices. Either directly or through delegation you will ensure behavioral management training of staff and caregivers for consistent application of the schools behavior philosophy.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Providing training and support to staff members on best practices for behavior assessment and treatment.
- Assuring that Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) are written to guide student progress.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to support behavioral and emotional development.

What we need from you.
- Masters degree in a related field of study.
- BCBA certification and current Maryland license as an LBA.
- 3-5 years of progressively more responsible experience in a special education or behavioral health setting.
- Must be able to travel to and from different Sheppard Pratt locations and sites on a regular basis.
- Possession of LCPC LCSWC PsyD or PhD is preferred.
