A leading AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorneywith 36 years of experience to join its highly regarded Labor & Employment Litigation practice. The team advises and defends employers across industries on complex workplace matters litigation and compliance and is known for its collaborative culture and sophisticated client work.
This is anunposted opportunity with a top Am Law firm.
The Opportunity
The Tampa office is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its growing practice. This is a full-time fully in-office position offering the chance to work closely with experienced partners on high-level matters in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Represent employers in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies
Draft pleadings motions and other litigation documents
Provide counseling on employment law issues including wage and hour workplace policies discrimination and harassment
Support workplace investigations and compliance initiatives
Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and client management
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligible for admission)
- 36 years of labor & employment litigation or counseling experience preferred
- Federal Clerkship experience strongly preferred
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work well in a team setting
