Joint Exercise Senior Military Operations Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW

DEFTEC Corporation is seeking a Senior Military Operations Analyst to support the USASMDC G37 Divisions Joint Exercise program. This role provides critical support to the planning execution and documentation of joint and combined space and missile defense training events. The analyst will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate training objectives develop scenario injects support the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and ensure accurate reporting through systems such as JTIMS and JLLIS. The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting Combatant Command exercises understands joint targeting and operational integration and is capable of producing high-quality operational documents and assessments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the planning execution and documentation of joint and combined exercises in accordance with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
• Coordinate with G37 staff the 100th Missile Defense Brigade 1st Space Brigade and external stakeholders to ensure integration of training objectives.
• Develop and manage Joint Master Scenario Event Lists (JMSELs) operational injects and exercise support products.
• Provide technical and administrative support to exercise planning events including IPTs planning conferences hotwashes and after-action reviews (AARs).
• Draft and maintain operational documentation such as EXSUMs OPORDs and AAR inputs in systems including JTIMS and JLLIS.
• Facilitate collaboration across Combatant Commands Army components and interagency participants involved in missile defense and space operations training.
• Contribute to lessons learned analysis and readiness assessments resulting from exercise execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in joint exercise planning military operations or strategic planning.
• Experience supporting Army Joint or Combatant Command-level exercises and operational integration efforts.
• Familiarity with Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL) JTIMS JLLIS and the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the development of EXSUMs OPORDs and AARs.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple directorates and stakeholders.
• Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a relevant discipline such as Strategic Studies Operations Research or National Security.
• Experience supporting USASMDC USSPACECOM or STRATCOM in an exercise support or planning role.
• Familiarity with missile defense operations space operations or targeting processes.
