The medical editor listens to recorded dictation from health care providers using computer software a headset and foot pedal to type edit/correct and format automated medical speech recognition transcripts and efficiently produce accurate medical reports. The medical editor will ensure accurate distribution of medical reports and timely completion of editing within the established provincial turnaround times and productivity position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
