Job Overview:
The Medical Physicist will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation in medical treatments. This role is essential for providing high-quality care in a healthcare environment focusing on quality assurance and adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance tests for radiation treatment equipment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize treatment plans for patients.
- Perform calibration of radiation therapy equipment and monitoring systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement new techniques and technologies in radiation therapy.
- Provide training and support to technical staff and radiologists.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to quality assurance and patient treatments.
Essential Qualifications:
- ABR Certified in Medical Physics.
- Must have 2 years of experience as an ABR Part 3 Physicist.
- No gaps in education history.
- No gaps in employment history; job stability is mandatory.
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience in a medical physics role is essential.
- Experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of quality assurance processes.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from 150000 to 230000 per annum depending on the candidates interview performance and skill sets.
