Job Summary
The Accounting Manager of Corporate Accounting is responsible for coordinating and optimizing outsourced accounting activities. This role ensures alignment with service-level expectations by measuring provider performance tracking volumes and maintaining strong collaboration between internal teams and external service partners.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Drive execution of complex financial tasks and responsible for reviewing team deliverables
- Selects develops motivates and coaches a highly skilled and technical staff to ensure high productivity and quality of work
- Provides support to other departments as a subject matter expert
- Provides technical expertise to support maintenance and improvements of internal systems
Role Specific Accountabilities:
- Supports compliance with accounting policies procedures and internal controls and finance transformation initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Oversees day-to-day coordination of outsourced accounting activities to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
- Monitors and reports on service provider performance including volume tracking and SLA compliance.
- Supports process optimization and standardization across outsourced functions.
- Maintains documentation and governance over outsourced processes controls and reporting responsibilities.
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field MBA preferred
- 5 years in Accounting or other Finance field
- Experience preferred in the Energy industry
- 2 years experience as a Manager / Supervisor
- CPA preferred
- Experience with accounting and/or reporting systems
- Strong leadership problem solving and communication skills
