This Position reports to:
Real Estate ManagerIn this role you will have the opportunity to lead a team of HSE experts. Each day you will make sure the team keeps developing capabilities and skills supporting the business in the implementation of policies practices and programs. You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization.
The work model for the role is #LiOnsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Business Area in Bangalore India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations liabilities and requirements
- Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.
- Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives
- Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related field.
- 12 years of progressive experience in HSE roles including at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth understanding of local national and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Strong grasp of risk assessment incident investigation root cause analysis and safety audits.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HSE policies procedures and training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees management and regulatory authorities.
