EDMS Australia is a growing construction company based in Townsville with over 100 employees and expanding operations. Were building a strong internal HR team to support our growth and are currently hiring either:
A capable HR Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations OR
An experienced Senior HR Advisor / Managerto lead HR strategy and culture
Were open to the right person whether youre earlier in your HR career or a seasoned professional ready to step into a leadership role. The right fit will be someone who is proactive adaptable and ready to make a difference.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 13 years HR admin or recruitment experience who is looking to grow.
Key Tasks:
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding
Maintain employee records and HR systems
Track compliance training and contracts
Support general HR administration and reporting
Assist with employee queries and onboarding logistics
What Youll Need:
Experience in HR admin recruitment or office support
Great attention to detail and communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital tools
Cert IV or Diploma in HR (or working towards it) preferred
This role will suit a confident HR professional ready to lead and partner with management.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive people strategy aligned with business goals
Manage employee relations and performance issues
Coach managers and supervisors across HR matters
Oversee recruitment workforce planning and compliance
Lead HR initiatives policies and cultural change
Support and mentor junior HR staff
What Youll Need:
510 years experience in HR ideally in construction or similar
Strong ER/IR compliance and leadership capability
A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field
