About the role
We have a unique opportunity for you as a Dental Assistant to work as part of our professional and supportive Oral Health Service at Southland hospital. There has never been a better time to join our Southern Family!

You will be responsible for helping to maintain the oral health of patients in our region.
You will work alongside an Oral Health Therapist/Dentist as part of a supportive and friendly team who is committed to delivering quality health services.
About you
Youll be a people person who is culturally competent and excellent customer service will come to you naturally.
Youll have a pleasant telephone manner strong administration skills and an awareness of the need for confidentiality of patient records and information. As part of a tight-knit small team you will be self-motivated with good organisational skills and participatory team member.
You will need to have the flexibility to be able to cover occasional rostered evening shifts. You will also need to be able to work in other clinics throughout the region; on occasion this may see you staying away overnight.
As a Dental Assistant you will also be required to participate in a weekend on-call roster normally one weekend in four from 9am-12.00pm.
