The opportunity
Youll join our Europe West Office of the CTO an organization that connects service line teams focused on AI Data Technology and Innovation providing a common governance framework and driving the adoption of global technology platforms. As Chief Data Officer for the Europe West Super region you will play a pivotal role in shaping EYs data strategy governance and innovation ensuring alignment and impact across multiple countries and service lines.
Your key responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and execution of the regional data strategy ensuring alignment with global and local priorities.
- Cross-Functional Enablement: Champion cross-country and cross-Service Line collaboration operationalizing best practices and supporting locally led data initiatives across Europe West.
- Data-Driven Transformation: Foster a culture of data-driven innovation to enable business transformation and accelerate AI adoption.
- Insight Generation: Coordinate analytics efforts to deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions and enhance service delivery.
- Thought Leadership & Talent Development: Represent EY as a thought leader in data management collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and lead the development of high-performing data teams.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A degree in Computer Science Data Science Business Informatics or a related field and 10 years in senior data leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in data governance and data product creation in complex international environments.
Ideally youll also demonstrate:
- Experience leading cross-functional multicultural teams and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
