Summary

We are seeking a versatile AI Cartoon Creator with strong skills in generative AI rig-based 2D animation and comedic storytelling. The ideal candidate can act as a one-person studio combining creative animation skills with AI-driven tools for video audio and character consistency.

This role involves end-to-end production: concept storyboarding animatics rigging animation AI voice integration and final compositing. A background in comedic or adult animation is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Animation & Generation

  • Use generative AI for 2D animation text-to-image and text-to-video (e.g. Midjourney Stable Diffusion Runway AnimateAI).

  • Ensure character consistency using AI tools (Consistent Character AI style transfer in-betweening AI).

  • Integrate AI-generated elements into traditional animation pipelines.

• Animation Production

  • Create rig-based 2D/puppet animation character rigging lip-syncing and comedic facial expressions.

  • Handle storyboarding animatics character turnarounds and production workflows.

  • Manage action choreography and cartoon-style storytelling.

• AI Audio & Voice Integration

  • Generate and edit comedic dialogue with AI platforms (ElevenLabs Speechify AI Revoicer).

  • Clone/generate voices apply emotional/comedic tones and sync with animation.

  • Perform sound design and audio integration.

• Workflow & Collaboration

  • Deliver end-to-end production (script to screen).

  • Organize projects for easy iteration and scalability.

  • Collaborate with creative leadership to refine scripts and comedic timing.

Requirements

• Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects Animate Character Animator Photoshop).

  • Experience with Blender (for converting 3D to 2D) and Toon Boom Harmony.

  • Strong understanding of AI tools for animation image and video generation.

  • Skilled in compositing character rigging lip-syncing and comedic animation.

• AI Audio

  • Hands-on experience with ElevenLabs Speechify AI or Revoicer.

  • Familiarity with comedic voice generation and dialogue editing.

• Experience

  • Prior work in comedy/adult animation TV pilot production or short-form episodic content.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full animation pipeline independently.

• Soft Skills

  • Strong narrative and storytelling abilities.

  • Creative problem-solving with new AI technologies.

  • Prompt engineering for AI platforms.

  • Independent and proactive; able to deliver as a one-person studio or in a small team.
