Opportunity Details

  • Working Location: Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam (office-based with some flexibility).

  • Working Time: Standard business hours Monday to Friday.

  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives.

  • Team Management: Leads a cross-functional team of 67 professionals in sales account management and support.

Role Purpose

The Country Head for Vietnam will be responsible for leading and driving business growth in the country. This role combines direct enterprise sales leadership with overall management duties including P&L ownership market strategy and team development. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the customer base increasing revenue through both new client acquisition and account growth and positioning the company as a trusted technology partner for Vietnams top retailers distributors and logistics companies.


Main Objectives

  • Achieve year-on-year revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise clients and expanding business with existing customers.

  • Achieve and surpass individual and team sales targets ensuring Vietnam plays a significant role in regional revenue.

  • Maintain a profitable and sustainable P&L by managing costs resources and ROI effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise sales efforts focusing on winning new logos while maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Own the Vietnam P&L including revenue targets expense management and annual planning.

  • Develop clear account strategies for top strategic clients ensuring strong engagement with CXOs and fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Manage a lean cross-functional team setting KPIs coaching for performance and hiring as needed to support growth.

  • Collaborate with regional delivery product and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the company externally in Vietnam with customers partners industry associations and relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity adapting strategies to maintain competitive positioning.

  • Report regularly to the CRO on revenue performance pipeline health customer satisfaction and market opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Management or related field (required).

  • Advanced degrees (MBA or similar) are a plus.


Professional Experience

  • 12 years experience including at least 8 years in a senior commercial or sales leadership role (e.g. Account Director Business Development Director Country Manager).

  • Proven success in enterprise SaaS sales within e-commerce retail logistics or supply chain solutions.

  • Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent revenue growth in competitive markets.


Technical Skills

  • Strong command of enterprise sales processes account planning and pipeline management.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and modern sales enablement tools.

  • Comfortable presenting to and negotiating with C-level executives.


Behavioral Competencies

  • Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset and ability to thrive under pressure.

  • Strategic thinker who balances long-term growth planning with hands-on execution.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and motivate a lean team.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English.

  • Resilient adaptable and proactive in navigating competitive and fast-moving environments.


Knowledge Domain

  • Deep understanding of Vietnams e-commerce retail and logistics ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and enterprise technology adoption.

  • Knowledge of regional APAC trends in digital commerce is a plus.
