If you are a Test Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in our Shakopee MN location you will design and implement software test systems to verify and validate product security capabilities in world-class safety-critical measurement & analytical instrumentation used throughout the industrial automation and control industry.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Work as part of a team to design implement and execute both manual and automated product security tests.
Research and develop custom product security test tools.
Participate in reviews of product requirements test designs and test implementations.
Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
Provide technical support for test stations and tooling.

For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science
Minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or Software Engineering
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to be creative to think outside the box.
Knowledge of fundamental product security concepts (e.g. CIA triad secure development etc.)
Interest and experience performing product security testing (e.g. security requirement testing pen testing fuzz testing bug bounty etc.)
Interest and experience working with test systems
Interest and experience working with embedded or low-level devices
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as IEC 62443 and EU CRA

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $90000-$125000annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
