Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Work within a team environment to execute work plans within budget and schedule
- Support Civil Systems design and/or equipment construction activities respond to vendor questions and deviation requests; review and approve vendor document submittals
- Have other duties as assigned by Manager and the Senior Engineers Interface with internal and external customers suppliers partners licensing the NRC and international regulatory authorities on technical issues
- Incorporate design requirements into analyses and design documents
- Support GVH quality requirements including participation in design reviews initiating and Manage the design analysis or evaluation of assigned systems using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards practices procedures and product / program requirements
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering Discipline from an Accredited College or University
- Solid proven experience of Civil Engineering Analysis and Design Experience
- Proficiency in Polish and English both verbal and written
Additional Desired Characteristics
- Masters Degree or greater in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or University
- Nuclear Industry knowledge / experience Strong knowledge of fundamental engineering principles BWR core/fuel material behavior and mechanical or structural design fundamentals
- Strong communication and writing skills and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
- Strong facilitation team building communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of project management
- Strong analytical capabilities problem solving and process skills
- Honest and straightforward with a high level of personal integrity.
- Detail-oriented and accountable for results
- Ability to work effectively within a highly collaborative environment
- A self-starter willing to take initiative
