About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary Full-time Specialist Diversity Equity and Inclusion to join our dynamic Diversity Equity and Inclusion team.
Canadian Blood Services Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) function is responsible for delivering and operationalizing a sustainable DEI strategy and roadmap for the organization. The DEI team works closely with senior leaders employees and stakeholders to advance DEI with intentionality across the organization and within the broader health care landscape.
In this role you will leverage your understanding of DEI to support your manager in the execution of assigned initiatives such as being a resource to the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) offering practical support and guidance to business owners on specific semi-routine diversity equity and inclusion issues and contribute to the development and delivery of DEI education and training. You will leverage your data analysis skills and training to collect analyze and interpret data to support the advancement of DEI initiatives and program/project effectiveness. You will support the manager DEI and other members of the DEI team in working collaboratively with all components of Canadian Blood Services to create processes and advance initiatives to identify and remove systemic barriers within the organization its programs and operations.
