SUMMARY:
The Radiology Diagnostic Imaging Manager under the supervision of the Director of Radiology is responsible for the direction coordination and maintenance of Radiologic Services; supervises personnel in technical operations; assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed by Director of Radiology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training which will probably be indicated by graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program; A.R.R.T. certification; certification by the Kentucky Cabinet of Human Resources Radiation Control Board; minimum four years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a full service (diagnostic and special modalities) radiology department; minimum two years experience as a lead or coordinator supervisor.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse position self remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; exposure to hazardous materials; manual dexterity and motor coordination; visual and auditory acuity; move lift and position materials weighing up to 20 pounds; assist patients safely.
