About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Engineer to join a dynamic data platform team. Youll design integrate and optimise data pipelines and architectures ensuring robust security and efficient access across advanced analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with solution architects to integrate Snowflake with Azure cloud data platforms.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake Azure Data Factory Synapse and Blob Storage.
Contribute to detailed data platform architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and security.
Implement and manage RBAC and fine-grained access controls in Snowflake.
Design and enforce data classification-based access policies for secure data consumption.
Optimise Snowflake queries and storage for performance and cost-efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance issues.
Work closely with data analysts scientists and business stakeholders to enable secure efficient data access.
Document technical designs access control policies and operational procedures.

Required Experience:
5 years in data engineering or cloud data platform roles.
Hands-on expertise with Snowflake (schema design query optimisation access control).
Strong experience with Azure cloud services (integration storage).
Deep understanding of RBAC data classification and security best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python a plus).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform Azure DevOps) is advantageous.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
