Job Description
SQM is seeking an experienced Assembler II.
INITs corporate North American headquarters is in Chesapeake Virginia. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assembly of enclosures according to precise product specifications.
- Ability to work from detailed instructions and conform to strict quality assurance guidelines.
- Assembly of electrical devices.
- Use of hand and power tools.
- Testing electrical devices.
- Operating Selective Soldering Machine.
- Operating Wave Soldering Machine.
Plus:
- Manual Soldering (Rework).
- Operating SMD/THT Machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to distinguish colors fine circuit detail and tones.
- Working knowledge of IPC workmanship and soldering standards.
- Working knowledge of ESD procedures.
- Motivated individuals with good attendance attitude and work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 1-3 years technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift.
Work Location: This position will be based at our North American corporate headquarters located in Chesapeake Virginia.
