Job Title: Drafting/CAD Technician II

Location: Painted Post NY

CAD design revisions and technical drawing package creation

Ability to create and update Shop Routers in an ERP system
Change Management (MOC) tracking and documentation
High computer literacy with ability to learn new tools quickly
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Design automation experience (e.g. DriveWorks)
Experience with AI-assisted design or workflow automation
Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
Experience with ERP systems such as Infor Syteline
Familiarity with Power Apps ETQ Reliance JMP or similar tools

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Create modify and manage 2D/3D CAD models drawings and complete drawing packages.
Maintain drawing revisions databases and supporting documentation using PDMWorks.
Create update and manage Shop Routers in ERP systems and track MOC actions.
Support and enhance design automation workflows and AI-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot CAD ERP and automation software issues including macro development.
Collaborate with engineering operations quality and IT teams to improve documentation and processes.

Requirements:

Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology Computer Science or related field
3 years of experience in CAD design and manufacturing documentation
Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to manage documentation SOPs and job aids accurately
