The opportunity: Marketing Programs Manager

AsMarketing Programs Manageryoull get to intimately know your target vertical. What personas should we be targeting What captures their interest What is their use case Why do they purchase Who is involved in the decision-making process Working closely with Sales and Product Marketing to answer these questions youll own the strategy and plan for outreach with the ultimate goal of building a qualified pipeline that ultimately converts to closed business. Youll activate the total addressable market by executing programs designed for every stage of the funnel. Weve learned it requires a continuous mix of programs to be successful. Whether it be brand ABM conversion or nurture programs - youll build the plan and manage the execution across marketing functions. Youll leverage data to deliver insights on how to optimize your approach in targeting the right people at the right time and moving them quickly through the position reports to the Senior Manager Marketing Programs.

Duties and responsibilities

• Build own and execute the program strategy in partnership with BDR and sales to achieve qualified pipeline and booking targets.
• Leverage research to determine optimal messaging and approach.
• Build and execute multi-channel programs designed to continually engage and ignite interest with the total addressable market for your segment.
• Own the health and hygiene of your marketable database ensuring TAM representation and structure to maximize audience engagement and reach.
• Determine optimal mix of programs (nurture ABM conversion and brand) to guide prospects through the funnel.
• Create content to support programs including emails and sales cadences and work with Integrated Marketing team on larger content pieces.
• Execute programs through marketing functions seeking functional expertise to optimize programs.
• Work with Product Marketing to connect product messaging to segment priorities.
• Build a strong relationship with Sales to ensure alignment on program priorities and gain buy in for programs.
• Look for and build relationships with third parties that already have a captive audience with your prospect base.
• Understand the value of the marketing tech stack in programs to deliver automation and insights on intent (specifically Pardot and 6Sense)
• Measure measure measure - continually tool for ways to understand your impact on the business.
• Leverage both program and funnel metrics to drive optimization across your programs through data-based decision making.
• Support client and field/event marketing function by identifying program opportunities.
• Support marketing budget including forecasting and ensuring good standing with finance and vendors.
• Leverage client success stories to communicate value to prospects.
• Prioritize the highest impact initiatives and work on multiple programs concurrently.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in B2B marketing role SaaS experience is advantageous.
• Experience designing and executing programs to public sector prospects is a strong asset.
• Degree or diploma in marketing a related discipline or relevant work experience
• Youve successfully designed and executed multi-channel marketing campaigns in a previous role.
• Youre comfortable using marketing automation software (we use Pardot) and Salesforce as well as other martech tools including WordPress.
• Youve had ownership over and been responsible for attaining MQL and pipeline targets in a previous role.
• Youre independent by nature and execute on your ideas and able to articulate them effectively to obtain buy-in from internal stakeholders.
• Youre able to project manage marketing programs efficiently and effectively and delegate across departments when needed.
• Youre up for a challenge and the idea of marketing to new segments excites you.
• You dont wait for directions to be given and act when you see opportunity.
• Youre like a sponge and ready to take advantage and learn all that you can as we scale up and take on new responsibilities or tasks.
• Youre always re-examining the process and looking to improve it. You dont buy the weve always done it this way mantra.

Location

This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Atlanta GA office. (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday)
