Overview

The Professional Fellowships Program Manager will oversee the design implementation and evaluation of Childrens Mercy Berry Institute Professional Fellowship programs (physician nursing administrative high-potential). This role involves coordinating with leadership throughout the health system to ensure fellows are provided opportunities to work on engaging projects. The program manager will also partner with colleagues in the Childrens Mercy Berry Institute to ensure alignment between the fellowship program with the At Our Best Leadership model. This role is responsible for ensuring the programs meet the objectives of developing future leaders in healthcare administration through comprehensive training mentorship and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for professional development strong organizational skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

New employees must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles mumps rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus diphtheria acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005. If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Design and develop fellowship programs that align with organizational goals and meet the needs of team members.
  • Coordination and Implementation: Manage the day-to-day operations of the programs including scheduling communication and logistic. Ensures effective and consistent implementation of program components.
  • Participant Recruitment and Support: Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract top talent and provide guidance and support to fellows addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using feedback to make continuous and present reports on program outcomes and impact to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree Human Resources Organizational Development Behavioral Psychology or related field and 3-5 years experience Human Resources Organizational Development Behavioral Psychology change management Healthcare or related field or
  • Bachelors Degree Human Resources Organizational Development Behavioral Psychology or related field and 5-7 years experience Human Resources Organizational Development Behavioral Psychology change management Healthcare or related field
