Join us as an Asphalt Plant Operator in Timaru!
In this role you will be based at our Timaru asphalt plant where you will assist with all aspects of plant operation to help deliver work for our customers safely on time and to the highest quality standard.
In addition to the above you will:
- Run the asphalt plant to ensure all productivity targets are met (Training will be given to the successful candidate to achieve this).
- Operate the loader and carry out general maintenance/cleaning around the asphalt plant.
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

Were looking for someone with:
- Full clean class 2 drivers licence and WTR endorsements
- Previous experience operating a loader.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain meaningful working relationships.
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety Its our #1 priority!
- Flexibility to work night shift as and when required
- The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and upskill
- A passion for delivering good quality work
