Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the PAEN Excitation in Canada.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Participate in the drafting/improvement of assembly instructions for the various production areas in the plant.
- Create drawings of work areas.
- Establish kanbans for wire chute and production consumables.
- Improve manufacturing processes performance verification and methods with clear acceptance criteria.
- Qualifications for the role Bachelors degree in automated production engineering industrial engineering or equivalent will be given priority
- Proficiency in Office suite (Project and Excel)
- Good knowledge of AutoCad Reading of drawings and electrical diagrams
- Excel scripting and programming experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of electrical standards (ANSI CSA IEEE UL and others) an asset
- French mandatory
