Cabinet Making Draftsperson / Designer

A dynamic and growing company based in Canning Vale is seeking a skilled Cabinet Making Draftsperson/Designer to join its team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with cabinetry knowledge and proficiency in Mozaik software looking to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cabinet Making Draftsperson/Designer will be responsible for producing accurate shop drawings interpreting architectural plans and working closely with the production team to ensure precision in manufacturing and installation. The successful candidate will translate client requirements into build-ready designs while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
KEY DUTIES
- Create detailed cabinetry drawings and documentation using Mozaik
- Interpret architectural and interior design plans with accuracy
- Apply cabinet construction knowledge to design solutions
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure drawing precision
- Revise designs based on client and builder feedback
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in Mozaik software is essential
- Solid understanding of cabinetmaking construction and materials
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and house plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
QUALIFICATION
- Familiarity with construction and interior design industries
- Ability to produce hand sketches and read technical plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and related office software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of organisation and multitasking ability
