JOB GOAL | The Customer Service Specialist will interact with the companys customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints generally providing a higher level of customer support on janitorial supplies equipment and deliveries. |
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
- Some experience with janitorial supplies equipment and procedures preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | NOTE: The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar related or a logical assignment to the position | Duties/Responsibilities: - Interacts with customers via telephone email or in person to provide support and information on janitorial products services and deliveries.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries complaints or comments.
- Collaborates with and assists sales representatives on customer service issues.
- Uses knowledge of a specific product service or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening and conflict resolution.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Ability to operate related office equipment such as computers 10-key calculator and copier.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
