Job Summary
A consumer goods company in the e-commerce space is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with overseas supply chain partners to ensure seamless procurement operations accurate forecasting and high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities Include:
Placing and managing purchase orders (POs) with overseas suppliers
Communicating and negotiating with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms
Overseeing the full PO lifecycle from order placement through shipment readiness
Coordinating with vendors agents freight forwarders and warehouse managers
Inspecting and ensuring product quality before shipment
Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining appropriate stock levels
Collaborating with internal departments to forecast demand and plan for trending/new products
Analyzing data to predict purchasing needs and prevent stockouts or overstocking
Ideal Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Growth-oriented mindset with eagerness to take on new challenges
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets with strong data entry abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of UPCs and basic quality control processes preferred
