- Conducting Product Safety and Energy Efficiency testing such as Temperature Test Drop Test Leakage/Touch Current Test various Energy Efficiency tests on hardware products.
- Recording and analyzing test data.
- Works/interfaces with safety compliance engineers and designers to meet safety requirements and improve product design.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment or lab.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or BS in Physics with electrical courses or equivalent.
- 1 years testing experience in a hi-tech environment.
- Proficient in using basic testing equipment e.g. oscilloscope power meter temperature logger and sensors (thermocouples).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematic diagram.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
