Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Reports To:DirectorEmployment Status: As neededFLSA Status: ExemptQualificationsRequired:Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Special Education Psychology or related Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Department of Education licensure (Pupil Services Permit/License) or the ability to obtain as conducting FBAs developing BIPs and supporting students with challenging interpersonal communication and collaboration :Experience in educational or school-based of IDEA special education requirements and positive behavior in crisis intervention and safety procedures (e.g. CPI).General Description: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral assessment intervention planning consultation training and support to students staff and families within the Southern Ohio ESC Region. The BCBA plays a critical role in promoting positive student outcomes by implementing evidence-based behavioral practices supporting individualized education programs (IEPs) and building staff capacity to manage challenging behaviors Functions:Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student with teachers related service providers administrators and families to support student modeling coaching and consultation for staff to ensure fidelity in implementing behavioral analyze and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as and oversee behavior support plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professional development and training sessions for staff on behavior management crisis prevention and de-escalation compliance with federal state and district regulations regarding special education and student accurate and timely documentation of assessments progress monitoring and services as a member of IEP teams providing expertise in behavioral supports and data-driven decision program development and continuous improvement initiatives within the and AbilitiesKnowledge of: Southern Ohio Educational Service Center policies and regulations names of district superintendents district contact persons and staff public relations State Department of Education Office for Exceptional Children Model Policies and Procedures State and Federal Special Education Rules and Regulations and best practices in intervention with students with disabilities.
