Do you want to help HNW individuals and trusts across Leeds make a difference to their local community An exciting opportunity has arisen to join St Gemmas Hospice as Philanthropy Manager identifying and stewarding major donors and trusts to make a significant impact on people with a terminal illness in Leeds and their family and friends.
If you have professional experience in securing major gifts or trust and grants of five and six figure gifts and/or securing partnerships within the HNW community wed love to work with you as we develop exciting partnerships to help people at the end of their life in our city.
You will take a lead in developing and delivering an aspirational philanthropy strategy including all our major donors and trusts work and working with our Senior Trusts and Grants Fundraiser develop exciting and innovative funding proposals helping to secure long term gifts from our community. You will work with our donors Hospice Leadership Team and trustee board to develop key caring and important relationships that will transform the future of end of life care in Leeds.

St Gemmas Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients families and carers in the Hospices In-Patient Unit through the St Gemmas community team and at our Out-Patients.
We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown Retail Hub in Bramley a large chain of charity shops and out in the community. We offer career opportunities both in our multi-disciplinary clinical team and in a wide range of non-clinical roles all of which contribute towards local patient care. St Gemmas Hospice has a team of approximately 800 volunteers working in a variety of roles supporting departments throughout the organisation.
