ROLE SUMMARY:
The busser is responsible for providing excellent and memorable experiences for our customers as they visit our Tasting Room and Kitchen. They greet answer questions and buss tables. They may tell the story of Cutwater and share insight into the products and company. They provide exceptional service at all touch points and ensure the cleanliness upkeep and server support required in the restaurant. This position is necessary for the overall success of guest experience by assisting the floor staff that take orders and serve guests directly. This position works under the direction of the Tasting Room Manager.
Daily Duties Functions Responsibilities:
- Clear dishes and glasses throughout customer experience.
- Deliver waters to newly seated guests and refill as needed.
- Communicate any order requests/needs to the dedicated server.
- Greet guests warmly and provide menus when necessary.
- Answer any questions that guests may have.
- Provide guests with instructions on navigating the Tasting Room and making purchases in the retail shop.
- Alert floor staff and/or managers of any complaints and help to resolve them.
- Ensure that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware napkins and condiments.
- Ensure that the front of house is well-kept swept and wiped down as needed.
- Ensure that the RTE fridges remain stocked and product is rotated accordingly.
- Address any immediate custodial needs.
- Put away any bar inventory orders as needed.
- Answer guest questions regarding recommended items meal ingredients and preparation by knowing and understanding the current menu thoroughly.
- Be willing and able to assist floor staff with requests.
- Engage with guests to ensure theyre happy with their experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Embraces and fulfills the culture of Cutwater including the 10 Principles and 6 Behaviors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Conditions
- Work takes place in crowded hot occasionally humid and loud environment for long periods.
- Requires routine lifting of 25 pounds. Occasional lifting of 50 pounds.
- Conducts most work in a standing position interacting with customers.
- Requires frequent standing walking bending stooping and lifting.
- Requires occasional operation of computer systems (POS).
- Requires the ability to manipulate large quantities of food dishware with hands.
Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities

- The ability to stand for extended periods.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A food handlers license or ability to secure one within 30 days of employment.
- 1 years experience working in the food service industry (preferred).
