The Opportunity
Monash University Library is seeking aServices and Spaces Team Leader (Knowledge Management and Training)to shape the future of Library frontline services across six vibrant campus libraries.
As a key member of our Services and Spaces leadership team youll drive excellence in customer experience lead a high-performing team and champion innovative training and knowledge management practices. Your work will directly support student success academic engagement and a welcoming inclusive environment for all Library users.
In this pivotal role you will:
- Lead and mentora team of 79 staff fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous learning.
- Design and deliverimpactful training programs that align with Monashs values of equity diversity and inclusion.
- Manage knowledge systemsthat empower staff and enhance service delivery across physical and virtual touchpoints.
- Collaborate widelywith Library and University stakeholders to innovate improve and promote our services.
- Contribute strategicallyto service design data analysis and operational planning in a fast-paced user-focussed environment.
What you need for success:
- Proven leadership in a high-volume library or university service setting.
- Expertise in training knowledge management and user-centred service design.
- Strong project management communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to inclusive practices and a passion for student success.
