Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Watertown NY 13601
Job Type: Contract Travel
Shift: Day / 3x12s
Pay Range: $60$65/hour ($2400$2600 per week)

Position Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse Long-Term Carefor an exciting job in Watertown NY.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to patients with a variety of needs including:
- Continuous 10L BiPAP (no vents)
- IV therapy PICCs ports
- Tube feeds and Foley catheters
- Fresh post-op hips/knees/elective surgeries
- Wound care and nebulizer treatments
Monitor and respond to acute patient changes (falls clinical deterioration).
Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and communicate with providers as needed.
Facilitate transfers to the Emergency Department when required.
Supervise and collaborate with LPNs and other care staff.
Manage patients with chronic illnesses dementia diabetes and rehab needs.
Use EMR systems for documentation and care coordination.
Adhere to all facility policies procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Required:

Current New York State RN license
BLS certification
Experience in long-term care post-acute rehab or acute care settings
Ability to supervise staff and manage clinical emergencies independently

Preferred / Additional Skills:

Experience with dementia care chronic illnesses and post-operative rehab
Strong assessment leadership and communication skills
