Job Summary
This role is responsible for designing comprehensive engineering solutions for diverse products and systems by applying basic foundation of a functions principles theories and concepts. The role ensures adherence of solutions to established engineering principles and technology guidelines. The role involves executing predefined test plans for existing designs and enforcing preventive maintenance. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams and develops of strong relationships with internal and outsourced partners.

Responsibilities
Designs portions of engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products systems software and solutions based on established engineering principles and development technology guidelines while ensuring cost effectiveness and quality.
Implements established test plans for existing designs including validation of mechanical electrical software and other engineering specifications and requirements.
Works with senior engineers to assist in inspection of performance of machinery equipment and tools to verify their efficiency; performs root-cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems and applies corrective action of problems and deficiencies.
Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with all assigned levels across engineering teams within the organization managing information exchange as required.
Works collaboratively with cross functional project team members and business peers to understand end-user requirements and propose engineering solutions for best user experience.
Helps enforce effective preventive maintenance safety procedures and additional measures as communicated by other functional teams.
Develops understanding and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on engineering design and development.
Participates as a member of project team of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
Contributes proactively to projects through research and data analysis support providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments.
Organizes and documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems and procedures.

Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 0-2 years of work experience preferably in engineering design engineering design tools and software packages or a related field.
