Join Hitachi Energy and work in a team that is dedicated to creating a future where innovative digital technologies allow greater access to cleaner energy. You will join a team in our Transformers Business Unit located in Monselice (PD). You will support the continuous improvement (CI) and the local plant to enhance and continuously adapt the partnership between Hitachi Energy and logistic partner accounted to manage warehouse metal fabrications pre-inspections and kitting component dismounting touch ups and packing of a very customized and special product such as a small/medium power transformer.
How youll make an impact:
Coordinate the main actors of the two parties (customer and logistic partner) to fulfill the output leveraging the issues that may occur finding the best balance between contract terms and business needs preserving Safety Quality and efficiency/cost requirements.
Initiate initiatives to control and harmonize the relationship between the parties;
Agree cost out projects/activities following lean six sigma concepts
Keep track of performance tracking setting/monitoring KPIs and cost control
Report to local management team supplier status and plans
Periodically set/review the requirements of the scope that will then become part of the new contract with the logistic partner; active participation to tender/negotiation and legal terms revision
Interact with different local departments such as production engineering R&D quality planning but also within the company at regional or global level;

Your background:
Master/bachelor degree in engineering economics or similar;
Previous experience is logistics is a plus
Experience or Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing is nice to have;
Knowledge of Basic MS Office tools;
Fluency in Italian and English (B2/C1);
Flexibility curiosity organization analytics teamworking skills are key soft skills
