The ideal candidate will play a critical role in promoting a healthy and safe school environment that supports student well-being and academic success. Job SummaryThe Substitute School Nurse provides professional nursing services to students and staff. The primary role is to ensure the health and safety of the school community by administering care managing health records and responding to medical needs in the absence of the regular school ResponsibilitiesAssess and provide basic health care to students including first aid for injuries and prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and parental accurate and confidential health to medical emergencies and coordinate with appropriate personnel parents or with school staff and health centers as needed to ensure continuity of health education and counseling to students and in school health-related activities and perform health screenings as have a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).Experience in school nursing or a related field is preferred.
