The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company Estimating Center of Expertise (ECOE) - Government Team is looking for a Senior Staff Analyst based out of Hazelwood MO (St. Louis area).
This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in priority planning and reviews metric collection organizational process improvements quality initiatives and leadership team coordination. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced high impact environment that faces the ECOE executive leadership team.
As the Senior Staff Analyst you will:
Work under the Director of Government Estimating
Collaborate with all other members of the leadership team including the VP of the ECOE
Lead multiple process improvements and proposal metrics meetings coordinating with cross functional teams multiple internal teams and external customers on proposal quality and compliance
Position Responsibilities:
Interface with leaders at all levels of the enterprise and with external customers on a regular basis to support decision-making and ECOE priorities
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of ingenuity creativity and innovation
Develop solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions
Operate and practice with a professional level of discretion and autonomy
Lead the development of process improvement initiatives estimating system compliance challenges proposal quality and turn time strategies
Assist in solving estimating system compliance challenges and providing proper disclosures within company and customer policies processes procedures and regulations.
Provide estimating/proposal guidance/determinations and technical and operational leadership for the program/business management teams
Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Hazelwood MO.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor degree in Finance Accounting or a Business related field
10 years of experience in Finance or Technical functions such as Estimating or Contracts
5 years experience preparing or negotiating United States Government (USG) proposals or contracts under USG primes or with subcontracts.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience using analytical collaboration communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform with a significant amount of autonomy and exercise good judgment in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Ability to demonstrate problem solving and advise all levels of management on recommendations and project status
