Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology
Join our dedicated team at a respected Cancer Care Center located in Albany NY. This facility is committed to providing high-quality care to its patients and is currently in need of a locum Hematology/Oncology provider. The practice offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient settings focusing on adult patients. Youll be working alongside a team of 3 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers with 4 full-time radiation oncologists available for collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact while the facility recruits for full-time oncologists.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule or alternatively a rotating weekend coverage model.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system for clinical records.
- Contribute to a community hospital environment with a focus on both hematology and oncology.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Valid New York State medical license.
- Willingness to accept a conversion rate cap of $25k.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology - Required.
- ACLS Certification - Required.
- New York State License - Required.
