Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chief electrician maintains repairs and troubleshoots electronic equipment. Must be able to read and interpret electronic and electrical drawings. Maintains services and repairs other electrical and various mechanical equipment. Works with repair crews by spotting isolating and disconnecting equipment to facilitate repair work. All other duties assigned by Chief Electrician.
Requires at least four years of verifiable experience as an electrician in mining or heavy industry. Must be familiar with the care and use of meters meggering motors and cable and troubleshooting AC and DC starters variable speed drives and power distribution equipment.
