Position Summary
The Recruiter / HR Specialist is responsible for sourcing interviewing and on-boarding caregivers nursing staff and office support while supporting HR functions such as employee engagement compliance and scheduling support. This role is key to ensuring BrightStar maintains a strong reliable team to provide exceptional client care.
Responsibilities
Source screen and recruit qualified caregiversHHAs and Nurses
Manage job postings and recruitment pipelines on platforms such as Indeed Linkedin Facebook and other social media
Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring decisions with management
Facilitate new hire onboarding orientation and training
Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Support employee relations recognition programs and retention efforts
Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs and workforce planning
Qualifications
Previous experience in recruiting and/or human resources (healthcare preferred)
Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
High school diploma required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
