Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Merthyr Tydfil to assist with the appointment of a Toilet Attendant on a 2.5-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 13.26 - 16.84 per hour

Summary:

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a Toilet Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of public toilet facilities at Cyfarthfa Park. This is a weekend role requiring 4 hours per day with responsibility for cleaning restocking and ensuring the facilities are welcoming and safe for the public. The post also includes light litter picking within the park area.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize toilets sinks and other facilities to high hygiene standards.
Restock toilet paper soap hand towels and other supplies as needed.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Perform light litter picking in and around the park facilities.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements:

Basic literacy and numeracy.
Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical fitness to perform cleaning and litter-picking duties.
Reliable punctual and responsible.
