About the Role
Our clients Houston office is seeking an experienced Practice Leader Education (K-12) to help shape and lead their work in academic environments. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on developing innovative solutions guiding design from concept through completion and creating spaces that elevate the educational experience. Whether the project is small-scale or a large district initiative your expertise will directly influence how students teachers and communities experience their environments.

What Youll Do

Lead and collaborate on educational facility projects from start to finish

Oversee design documentation from early presentations through construction deliverables

Support the development of creative design concepts across all project phases

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through clear effective communication

Partner with internal teams and consultants to ensure successful project delivery
What It Takes to Succeed
Our client is looking for a proactive motivated leader who brings:

15 years of architectural experience with significant expertise in K-12 facility design
-
A deep understanding of the architectural design process and building systems
-
The ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
-
Solid knowledge of construction materials and products
-
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
-
Proficiency with design and productivity software (Revit Bluebeam Adobe Suite MS Office)
-
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple offices
-
Preferred experience with Newforma SketchUp and MS Office 365
-
Professional presence excellent communication and leadership skills
