Commercial Lines Account Executive - Healthcare
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a Healthcare Team. This role involves managing a diverse book of business primarily focused on mid-to-large market dental group practices and healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance exceptional client service skills and the ability to develop and execute effective renewal and retention strategies. This is a hybrid position with flexibility for remote work after the initial training period.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of client service including placement renewals and retention strategies for a designated book of business.
- Develop renewal strategies conduct gap analyses review claims history and coordinate exposure data.
- Lead marketing efforts negotiate with carriers prepare executive summaries and facilitate binding of new and renewal policies.
- Handle material coverage changes and communicate directly with carriers as needed.
- Cross-sell and round accounts within the existing book of business.
- Participate in both written and oral RFP presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier and wholesale partners to ensure optimal market placements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a commercial Property & Casualty brokerage environment. Candidates with healthcare or professional liability experience are highly preferred.
- Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of loss-sensitive programs alternative risk transfer and self-insured retentions.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to follow structured processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain carrier relationships.
