About the Role
The Consumer org owns comprehensive digital experiences for home sellers and buyers. While sellers have traditionally come to Opendoor for a cash offer on their homes we have been expanding our suite of products to serve more customers in one of the biggest transactions of their lives. This is a particularly exciting time for the team as we transform our technical architecture and user experience to a multi-product personalized experience. We are looking for a product-focused senior fullstack Engineer to join us in this transformation.

What Youll Need
3 years building and delivering high quality web-based user-centered software products in a team environment
2 Years JavaScript/TypeScript React GraphQL HTML5 and CSS with a deep understanding of building scalable maintainable UIs.
- Comfortable working with backend systems (Python Go or Ruby) to implement features troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
A strong desire to build intuitive impactful software that solves real problems for real people.
Experience working closely with cross-functional partners such as engineering design and operations to deliver value to customers
What Youll Do
- Create Meaningful Experiences: Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user pain points and build elegant scalable solutions that delight our customers.
Own Fullstack Features: Design and develop robust front-end experiences in React and TypeScript while also diving into back-end systems (Python Go or Ruby) to ensure seamless functionality end to end.
Lead with Craftsmanship: Write clean maintainable and modular code. Youll contribute to reusable UI components and scalable application architecture that powers multiple user experiences.
Collaborate Across Disciplines: Engage with engineers designers and operators to deliver end-to-end solutions share feedback and ensure alignment across teams.
Drive Quality & Best Practices: Champion technical excellence through code reviews mentorship and initiatives to raise the bar on software quality and team processes.
Remove Friction with Technology: Partner with our operations teams to identify opportunities where software can simplify workflows reduce manual tasks and enhance customer support.
Compensation
The base pay range for this positionis $143000-$197000 annually plus RSUs and bonuses. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications job-related knowledge skillsand experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO medical/dental/vision insurance life insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
