Job Summary
Location: Terrace BC
What you will do:
Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager you will be responsible for
Demonstrate Four Rivers Co-operatives values of Responsibility IntegrityService and Excellencein everything you do
Provide leadership to the team including goal setting performance management training and development of team members
Provide day to day direction and guidance collaborate with the manager to ensure efficient scheduling
Contribute to the efficient purchasing invoice reconciliation inventory management shipping and receiving as well as pricing strategies to achieve optimum sales and margins
Demonstrate your commitment to OHS and the importance of it to all our employees contractors and visitors
Participate in the development of strategies to improve customer service drive store sales improve profitability and maintain employee engagement
Be available for emergency calls from team members when off shift on a rotational basis
Willing to attend meetings and training opportunities as required
Who you are:
- Grade 12 education
- Minimum of 2 years leading and managing teams/directs reports of 10 employees preferably in a related service industry
- Knowledge of retail and inventory control procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft office and various interface software
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands detail oriented with a commitment to quality
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with a can-do attitude
You are adaptable organized efficient and committed to the business and your team
